Mental Health Awareness Month is the perfect reminder to slow down, check in with yourself, and reach out for support when you need it. If you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or just want to build healthier habits, ICUBA has you covered.

Access behavioral health benefits from BlueCross BlueShield in My Health Toolkit under the “Wellness and Care Management” tab.  If you aren’t covered under an ICUBA medical plan, you can connect with a counselor for up to 8 free counseling sessions, for you & every member of your household, through the Employee Assistance Program from Resources for Living.

Did you Know?

Sanitas Medical Centers offer mental health support through their BeWell program, integrating mental & behavioral health services with primary care. In addition to primary care, ICUBA members can access mental health screenings, counseling, and referrals in one convenient location.  Sanitas Medical Centers are $0 copay for primary care for members covered under a BlueCross BlueShield  from ICUBA. Learn more about  the services available from  Sanitas  or call (844) 665-4827 to schedule an appointment.

TIP OF THE MONTH

Take advantage of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits available from Resources for Living.  The EAP provides resources for all of life’s challenges. The best part? The benefit is free for you and every member of your household, including children up to age 26 whether they live at home or not.  For more information, check out the Resources for Living Member Orientation video, visit www.resourcesforliving.com, or call (877) 398-5816. You can also create a personal account to view recommended topics of interest, and curate resources based on your needs.

Mental health is complex. There are a number of factors that come together to make up someone’s mental health, including biological, psychological and social factors. Some of these elements can increase a person’s risk of mental health concerns, while others can help protect against them.

Check out all the resources available from the EAP to help you learn more about contributors to mental health and sources of support that can help.
