Reducing Barriers to Care
ICUBA’s medical coverage is about more than prescription and behavioral health benefits through BlueCross BlueShield. When health issues come up, ICUBA offers programs that help guide you to the care you need, when you need it.
You are not required to meet your deductible when visiting an in-network primary care physician or specialist for office visits. Instead, only the applicable copay will apply. Office visits with Total Care primary care providers designated by BCBS are available at a $0 copay. ​
Additionally, visits with primary care physicians and specialists designated as high-quality providers by Embold Health are also available at a $0 copay. When seeing an Embold Health designated provider, you may be asked to pay your copay at the time of service. Once the claim is processed and you receive your Explanation of Benefits (EOB), your provider will refund the copay resulting in a $0 copay for the visit. ​
